Fascinating! I loved this article. You know it's interesting because America is gripped with nostalgia for the past right now too. There is a fascination with all things unelectronic - cameras and record players, etc. and a longing for the past. I think that Saudade might be a word we need too. So much change happening at such a fast pace here and everywhere.
I wonder how different or ordinary this is. Did our parents' generation have similar feelings? Did our grandparents' generation long for the good old days before the automobile and the airplane?
One thing I love about the idea of saudade is that it takes more than 30 English words to really home in on what it means :-D.
Well, "Saudade" is a nice addition to my playlist! Thanks. I think many an evening may be centered around Eurovision. No NBA playoffs as a distraction should help.
I like it. 👍
Yay!

Nice! I particularly like the harmonies at the end. And the audience participation that goes on for 1:30 after the song ends. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the choreography on Ai Curaçao. Would they get by with those moves on U.S. TV?
I've no idea what people care about in the US anymore. Weird stuff gets people all worked up and then other things go completely unnoticed.

Ah, yeah, no.
The Warriors.
So you're not investing in some fancy TV package that will allow you watch all the games (which start at, like 3 AM)?

Glad you like it! I do, too. I also like this year's entry a lot. Who's your NBA team?
