Such amazing reports! I'm wanting to introduce more of a slow food movement into our community. I'm learning from your experiences. A two-hour lunch break sounds so civilized versus how we wolf down our food.
We miss you Scott and Amy! Love this format and the ability to write and read comments. ❤️ Growing up in Miami, we were heavily influenced by “Cuban time” and always ate dinner late. My parents still live there and eat between 8-9! You’ll get there! Love to both of you! 😘
I love this format. I might just copy it... We have been talking about setting up a blog. :-) FYI, in a very interesting discussion with a Lisbon Uber driver back in March, it came up that I speak French, and he expressed that in some ways (structural ways), Portuguese has more in common with French than it does with Spanish. Their terms for lunch & breakfast seem to be an example; lunch is "dejeuner," and breakfast is "petit-dejeuner."

Absolutely! Personally, I have been wolfing for years. It's going to take some time to unlearn that but I'd really like to.

Great to hear from you, Nancy! Thanks for writing!
Love this format! Can't wait to find out how late you start sleeping, if you can't have dinner til 7:30!
I know, right? Hard to eat at, say, 8 and then go to bed at 9:30. It's a cycle.

Interesting about the structure of French. I didn't know that. Let us know when you start your blog!
Loving the new format for sharing your adventures in Portugal! I love the point about how the days are named there. I had no idea.
Thanks, Gargi. Naming is powerful. Can really shape how people think/feel about something.
Love the format AND these reports! Thank you for sharing!!
Glad you like them. Thank YOU for reading!
