Google "what is a NY cheeseburger". You'll get a whole article about the subject. Do you want me to send you some TP and potato chips? Phyl

This article: https://ny.eater.com/2014/4/25/6240331/a-complete-guide-to-new-york-city-hamburger-styles

says "... New York City does not have a single, dominant burger style." Pringles seems to disagree.

And no thank you on the TP and chips - it'd cost more to break them out of customs than to send them in the first place :-D.

We use the Renovo 100% recycled and it is soft and has huge rolls. Biomercado, Celeiro stores and Corte have it. It isn't expensive either.

Thanks, Nancy! We've got a few Renovas to get through between now and our next purchase. I think I've seen the 100% recycled at Pingo Doce now that you bring it to my attention. We are hearing Celeiro more and more often, though, so we probably need to pay a visit to one soon.

Pingo might not have 12 packs. Biomercado and Corte do. I think Celeiro only has 4s also.

Oh, and the Renovo recycled tissues are good.

Tissues I can't seem to find anywhere, unless they're in small packages. Does Celeiro sell those? Definitely need to get there . . . and I probably should check out Biomercado too next time I'm in the area. Thanks!

Corte and Bio have it. Not sure about Celeiro.

Thanks! I dream of the "anybrand" 1000 sheet rolls that I am sadly understanding are in my past. Never thought I would be obsessed with toilet paper!

Ha! Think bidet. An allusion to a previous post, in fun.

Hey Scott, for plain chips try a store called

Pingo Doce, also might want to try online at a store called Liberty (I believe it is located in Lisboa)...lots of american products. If you want maple syrup (Acer =Maple) try another place called Celeiro (I order online)

Thanks, Lidia! It's great to hear from you! We've been meaning to reach out - things have been more overwhelming in more ways than we expected.

It's strange how different everything is. I still can't get over the milk being unrefridgerated. 😊
