I miss her (and all of you!). I'm just happy she/you are all happy, healthy, and living the good life. Sounds like Josie adapted right away. She's such a treasure.
Delightful! I enjoyed this so much! What a great life she has! And it’s super helpful because our dog Loki has lost some muscle mass in his hind end as he has gotten older so maybe some water rehab would be a good idea for him! Thank you!
With Maui, they do ask his age (nearly) as often as his gender. However, this might be due to his distinctly puppy-like behavior and appearance.
And we encounter LOTS of loose dogs here. Almost daily. It is annoying, especially when one is walking a 10 lb dog that one would prefer to keep from getting eaten. "Não faz mal!" the owner often insists, trailing at a distance. Sure. We currently live in a corner of Cascais that is especially green, with parks practically on every block, so tons of dogs in the area. In a few weeks we are moving into Cascais center, so I am hoping there will be fewer loose dogs in that more urban, busier environment.
So happy Josie is doing so well. I love water therapy. We took Macs for multiple sessions to help his arthritic hips. He loved being fussed over.
When our kids are happy, so are we!

I would absolutely be one of those people who'd stop to say hi and offer scritches.

Go Loki!
Life looks rough for poor Josie. Lol.
I have to admit I know a dog named Canela and had not thought about how she's Canela the cadela.
Ha!

Fascinating that there are so many more loose dogs on the mean streets of Cascais. Good luck with your move!
