I had to go back to your previous entry about still having your rental apartment until June because no water, no power in your new home because you just moved in would have been a different level of torture. Thank goodness for the overlap! 😅
We actually have both water and power and have since the day of our move. What we don't have is Internet/TV. And no telling when that will happen. We can live without TV and MEO is giving us free mobile data until they can get us up and running so we're using our phones as hotspots, which is working ok. We gave up the keys to the other apartment last Friday and haven't looked back.
Very very very good luck with unpacking. And now that you are home, you can enjoy that beautiful moment of bliss where you start seeing beautiful, artisanal things and objects that really make your heart race. For a beautiful selection of original, artisanal goodies you have to visit Depozito (https://www.avidaportuguesa.com/pt/lojas/depozito) the "Bath, bed and beyond" of A Vida Portuguesa. Plus - you will find not only beautiful things, but the BEST focaccia (and possibly a drink) on the way at Liquid Love bar (https://www.instagram.com/liquidlove.lx/), a cozy space opened by a super friendly and nice italian-portuguese couple. You deserve a tipple to celebrate :)
I don’t think Liquid Love is selling “to go” yet (but ask Semi and Cheila, the owners, they might do special orders! Their focaccia is truly special). An option is the focaccia from Pausa Crescente in Alcántara. It’s a bit drier than the one made by Liquid Love but the nice side is that one can buy some nice Italian groceries to accompany it, and take all home!

Bravo! It's a new life!
Congratulations! I am so happy for you and looking forward to hearing about how you settle in and make the apartment HOME.
Thank you so much Jen!
How did you manage to collect so much more stuff? Yikes! Anyway, I pray many blessings over your new home. Love, Phyl
We do appreciate those prayers!
Happy for you! Maybe this would be the time to start evaluating Portuguese wine for a future report.
Since we don't drink wine, perhaps we should and our blog off to friends ;-)

You had me at focaccia. Do you know where I can buy loaves of focaccia to take home?
I will definitely check out Depozito! Thanks!
