Yet another post that must be bookmarked for future reference! Thanks in advance for the step-by-step guide, haha.

What a cliff hanger - PLEASE share how you got your address updated with IMT! From reading about this on AFIP, I did not think it was actually possible/realistic to get our address updated for an ongoing license exchange process. We're in the same boat as you, waiting on our Portugal licenses. We did set up mail forwarding with CTT in the hope it will actually work (I've read many mixed and very conflicting reviews of this service).

I'm also curious as to whether you have made any progress with SEF?

As you say, Finanças is the easy one... Let's get to the good stuff, por favor! :)

Very helpful- saving this for future use! Also adding Algarve Know How to the list of immigration assistance. I know we can do most of the visa application ourselves but good to have help in some aspects!

I seem to remember you telling me, maybe 18 months to two years ago now, that you were moving to Portugal because that country was so welcoming to expats from America, and it was so easy to move there. Let me know when that happens LOL.

Ha! Sadly, anyone who changes addresses in Portugal - expats or natives - must run this gauntlet.
