I lived in South Africa for a year, and England for a year. Never got kilos to miles. The F to C formula had to suffice, as we had neither calculator nor handy chart!
I can do km to mile reasonably well because I used to run 5k races, which are 3.2 miles. That gives me a decent place to start. About as close to "double it and add 30" I guess. And learning that the 750 meters from our current place to our new one is .48 miles provides another reference point. So I might be getting there. If I want to get fancy, 1 km is .62 miles.
And the handy chart is only handy if we're in striking distance of our refrigerator :-).
Here we have a ton of Ocean Effect warnings. Which means???? I think that there are waves. We often have high winds, maybe rain with it, so maybe it's storms?

I can do meters. I can do kilos. I'll try doing Celsius...but, in Copenhagen here, I guess they provide the wind speed in...seconds.
GASP NO!!!!! Not seconds.

My goodness! That would be hard to understand and manage. At least you've got meters and kilos down, though. Good for you!
I don't have km to miles AT ALL.
And that handy chart? I use it. All. The. Time. So there, HK.
