WE GOT OUR LUGGAGE BACK!

Lisbon update 2.1

Just a quick note to say that we now have our luggage! It was a LONG day yesterday - we were first contacted by email and phone (though we couldn't answer the call) around 10:30 AM and I finally gave up on trying to call back and just Ubered to the airport at 7 PM. Returned with the luggage shortly before midnight.

Today, we unpacked everything. It all came through in great shape except, sadly, for one precious Talavera memento from Mexico. And the dark chili powder spill was reasonably well-contained 😄.

We've now shifted 180 degrees from "drawers and cabinets with nothing to put in them" to "oh my goodness where can we stash all this crap?” (Clearly, not on the elevator.) 😄

It's a good problem to have. And it probably means I'll get to put together some more IKEA furniture soon! Woohoo! 🎉
